Welcome back! Been trying for ages to find a shop like this. Order just placed. Thanks Norman

It is so good to see you are back. A while back I said that I thought Venice was going to reserve seats on the vaporetti for Venetians, but in November I discovered that it was an entire line going down the Grand Canal. If you have an IMOB card they let you use it.

Can you tell me what street this store is on? I'll be back in November and would love to visit it. One last question, My husband and I would like to renew our wedding vows in November. Do you or any of the readers have suggestions. It doesn't have to be a formal, state sanctioned event, it could just be the two of us with our Venetian friends in a romantic part of Venice.

Ciao

Google Maps shows that address on Calle del Campazzo.

Go to http://maps.google.com Then, type in San Polo 2681, venice, italy

Great photos. I must get over to this shop the next time I'm in Venice at the end of September. I read about Gilberto on another blog about gondolas and he sounds like quite the character. Did you have the chance to chat with him at all?

One of Senor Penza's projects is to document all the different types of boats used in the lagoon over the years. I'm thrilled to know that there's at least one person preserving Venice's maritime history.
